The BNN credential

A credential you earn — and can prove.

ABNNA and MBNNA aren't bought. You qualify by passing a real, scheduled examination against a published standard — then commit to the Code of Ethics. Learn it with us, or prove it directly by exam.

Two routes, one standard

Route A — Course + Exam

New to BNN, or want it taught properly? Take the Foundation course (for ABNNA) or an Advanced course (for MBNNA). The examination is included.

Route B — Exam only

Already an experienced practitioner? Skip the course and sit the exam directly — Foundation £20, Full Member £30. Same exam, same standard.

How the examination works

1

Apply & pay the fee

Complete the exam application and pay the fee on application — Foundation £20, Full Member £30. (Waived for Founding Members.)

2

We review your application

Every application is reviewed for eligibility and route. It's a vetted credential, not an automatic pass.

3

Choose your sitting

On approval, pick a date from our calendar. Examinations run as scheduled sittings every two months — six a year.

4

Sit the exam

Foundation = a written examination. Full Member = the examination plus a live case review of a real chart, marked against a transparent rubric.

5

Complete the Code of Ethics training

Every member — ABNNA, MBNNA and FBNNA — completes the BNNA Code of Ethics training and signs the affirmation. No charter is awarded without it.

6

Qualify & activate

Pass, then activate your membership with the annual fee — your post-nominals, directory listing, badge and premium access switch on.
